The Visitor Center contains a museum
display area, a theatre, and a book and gift shop. It is
open during regular park hours with parking provided nearby.
The museum display area contains
exhibits showing the history of the Revolutionary War, clothing
and items from the period, and artifacts directly related
to the battle of Kings Mountain.
A lighted map display traces the movements of the troops,
both Loyalist and Patriot, during the battle.
Playing in the
theater is an edited version of the History Channel production
"Frontier — The Decisive Battles — Battle for Kings Mountain."
Also located in the Visitor Center is
a book and gift shop. Here the shopper will find items related
to the Battle of Kings Mountain, the Revolutionary War,
and to local history.
