Hambright Monument

Hambright Monument

This monument was placed in 1939 to honor Frederick Hambright
who was wounded near this spot during the battle of Kings Mountain.

The inscription on the monument reads:

THIS TABLET
MARKS THE SPOT WHERE
COL FREDERICK HAMBRIGHT
WAS WOUNDED

PLACED BY
COL FREDERICK HAMBRIGHT CHAPTER
DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
